About me

I launched my practice with a series of single family house commissions after working on large and small building types for respected architectural firms in Kansas City. I have been refining and expanding the skills required to plan elegant living environments that address the needs of modern families and individuals and exceed expectations ever since. The design of new and remodeled homes is a process that I undertake with fascination and joy.

I work in a collaborative manner to focus and simplify goals and identify creative, elegant and budget conscious ways to produce smart and beautiful architecture. I take pride in my reputation as a creative and skilled architect that listens to clients and is easy to work with.

I guide clients through all stages of the design and construction process. I am engaged with the ever changing design, code and zoning requirements of local municipalities on a daily basis and will consider and confront their potential impact on the project early in the design process. I also consult during the bidding and construction phases to make projects run smoother and more successfully.

My formal training and years of experience have provided me with the skills to serve commercial clients as well. I welcome opportunities to provide design services for a variety of building type and tenant finish projects.
