About me

The creation of architecture can be a magical process. A casual conversation over a cup of joe and a few lines drawn on a napkin can lead to changes that will inspire and improve lives for decades. I’ve had the good fortune to work as a professional architect for 30 years and I’m proud to have contributed to some of the architectural magic in our area.

Architecture is also complex and a lot of hard work. I work in an efficient and collaborative manner to simplify goals and identify creative, elegant and budget conscious ways to create impactful projects. I take pride in my reputation as a creative and skilled designer that is easy to work with.

After 11 years of working on a variety of large and small building types for leading design firms I launched my own practice with a series of single family house commissions in 1998. Through a diverse portfolio of projects I have been refining and expanding the skills required to plan elegant living environments that meet the needs of modern families and individuals. To this day, the design of new and remodeled homes is a process that I undertake with fascination and joy.

My formal training and experience has provided me with the skills to serve commercial clients as well. I welcome opportunities to provide design services for a variety of building type and tenant finish projects.
